Opening later this month is the critically acclaimed Moon, the first feature from British writer/director Duncan Jones. The sci-fi thriller recently won the Best New British Feature Film at the 2009 Edinburgh International Film Festival, and stars Sam Rockwell (soon to be seen alongside Robert Downey Jr in Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2) as an astronaut living on the far side of the moon in the near future.
After nearly three years of living in space and mining Earth's primary source of Energy, Helium-3, Sam (Rockwell) is looking forward to being reunited with his wife and young daughter. It will be his first real human contact for years, as a broken satellite means he has not been able to communicate with home and so his only companion has been his computer Gerty. But, suddenly, Sam's health begins to fail and he suffers debilitating headaches, only to realise that someone may very well not want him to return to Earth...
