War. What is it good for? Well, if you're Quentin Tarantino, it's excellent fodder for one of the most hotly anticipated movies of the year; Inglourious Basterds.
And thank goodness that Brad Pitt's bizarre 'tache at the BAFTAs in February wasn't a personal style choice, rather essential plumage for his role as Lt. Aldo Raine. He's one of a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as The Basterds, who are based in Nazi-occupied France during World War II. Given the task of spreading abject fear throughout the Third Reich by brutally maiming, murdering and scalping Nazis, the Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a cinema in Paris.
