Yes, we know the sun has only just made an appearance and, yes, we know you probably don't want to be thinking about winter but there are some great movies gearing up for release towards the end of the year. And one of the most exciting is undoubtedly Megamind, the new animation from DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures featuring the voice talents of Brad Pitt, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey and Jonah Hill. Farrell lends his voice to the brilliant super-villain, whose attempts to conquer Earth have been foiled over the last 20 years by his arch nemesis, superhero Metro Man (Pitt). But when Megamind accidentally kills Metro Man, he finds that being an evil genius is no fun without an enemy, and so sets about creating a new super rival. But, like all best laid plans, things soon start going badly wrong when the new super-foe becomes fixated on destroying the world, and Megamind is torn between his nefarious plans and his loyalty to humankind.
Megamind is released on December 3, 2010.
