This summer sees the release of big-budget actioner GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra, directed by Stephen Sommers - and we've got a first look

Based on the popular American children's character, the film focuses on an elite military unit who must fight to bring down an evil terrorist organisation

Dennis Quaid is onboard as unit leader General Hawke, with Channing Tatum as Duke, Marlon Wayans a Ripcord, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander, Sienna Miller as The Baroness and Chrisopher Eccleston as Destro. They can be seen in all their glory in these mean 'n' moody character one sheets...

GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra is released on August 7th, and Paramount have sent over the kick-ass trailer. Check it out below.
