Audrey Niffenegger's novel The Time Traveler's Wife is regarded by many as one of the greatest works of modern literature, so it's pretty safe to assume that there's are a huge number of people on tenterhooks awaiting Robert Schwentke's (Flightplan) adaptation that's coming later this summer. And now they (and you) can get an early peek, with the only-just-released official poster and trailer.
Eric Bana (Star Trek) takes the lead role of Henry DeTamble, an dashing librarian who has a genetic condition that causes him to bounce, involuntarily, through time. Along the way he meets artist Clare Abshire (Rachel McAdams) and embarks on a passionate love affair, a relationship made incredibly difficult by the fact that he keeps turning up at different points in her life.
The Time Traveler's Wife finally reaches cinemas on August 14.
